Sustainability isn’t a buzz word for us - it’s built into every decision we make. From recycled fabrics made from ocean plastic to responsible production, we focus on creating swimwear that makes you feel good and does good for the planet. Our goal has always been simple: turning waste into swimwear you genuinely love, whilst reducing our impact on the earth wherever we can.

OUR FABRICS

Since 2020 we've been turning JUNK into timeless swimwear that's made to last. We partner with a number of leading fabric mills for there innovative technology in crafting sustainable yarns.

REPREVE® is a fabulous fabric made from 100% ocean bound plastic bottles. These bottles are collected by hand from areas within 50km of coastlines that do not have a formal waste or recycling system.

ECONYL® is a 100% regenerated nylon made from discarded materials like fishing nets and plastic from the ocean. This eco-friendly material is sourced from Italy, renowned for its quality and sustainability, ECONYL® reduces the environmental impact of nylon production by up to 90% compared to oil-based materials.

OUR FACTORY

Our swimwear is manufactured in Bali, Indonesia at an amazing factory that specialises in swimwear made from eco friendly fabrics. They’re not only lovely to their workers and pay up to three times the national average, but they also provide free healthcare and a freshly cooked lunch every day. Their working conditions are on par with western standards and have been approved by the Indonesian Government. They also take their impact on earth seriously. With our swimwear being packaged in biodegradable garment bags made from plants, and all fabric scraps are donated to local charitable groups who remake them into saleable goods, helping to support people living on the streets of Bali.

OUR IMPACT

We don't follow the fashion fashion hype - our pieces are designed to be worn season after season. With a focus on quality over quantity and small production runs to reduce waste. Our number 1 promise is to never send any stock to landfill. To help with our commitments to reducing waste, we offer a repair service to help extend the life of your swimwear.

Whilst our swimwear is made from regenerated ocean plastic, we are committed to using as little single use plastic as possible. Our garment bags are biodegradable and made from plants, and our packaging is 100% FSC certified recycled paper.

Sustainability is a journey and we know we’re not perfect. We are always looking for ways to improve and are committed to making better choices at every stage of our growth. We will always be transparent about where we are and where we’re going.
